The Napoleonic Wars and a look at the history and military conquests/goals of Napoleon. Effects he had on all nations of Europe.

Continuation of notes on the 20 years war. Congress of Vienna discussed in detail, as well as what happened to Napoleon prior to this which prompted the meeting.

Industrial revolution and labor, lecture goes more into what it means to be a state/nation as well. The Biedermeier Era and its connotations, as well as the art depicting this era. Liberalism, conservatism, socialism-- what do these things mean in terms of how we organize our lives? Goes into taxes briefly.
