Morphology definitions including; morpheme, allomorph, etc. Describes the types of allomorphs and how they occur.

Syllables and syllable structure. Includes constraints, syllabic boundaries, and stress patterns.

Phonetics and Phonological definitions. ie: allophone, minimal pair, underlying form, etc.

The IPA symbols for consonants and vowels as well as their classification.

Includes definitions, Phrase Structure Rules, structural ambiguity, and semantic definitions. Defines the rules for a sentence, noun phrase, verb phrase, and a prepositional phrase.

Includes Grimm's Law description and rules. Vocabulary that is related to basic historical linguistics and reconstruction. Describes a language family and the proto-language.

Basic phonological rules including; Nasalization Rule, Flap Rule for Alveolar Stops, Velar Palatalization Rule, Sonorant Devoicing Rule, Stop Aspiration Rule. Also includes differences in Phonetic and phonemic transcription.
