In order to understand many things in medicine, it is important to have a solid understanding of what happens at a cellular level. In my first year at medical school, I made sure to make thorough notes on everything because I had never come across most of these concepts and I wanted to be able to understand whem when looking back on them. As well as understanding anatomy and the physiology of the human body, in medicine, it is also important to understand the ethics behind medical practice and to learn how to be professional in many different situations. This lecture provides an introduction to medical ethics and professionalism.

Carbohydrates, Fats and Proteins. These lecture notes provide in-depth information about how these macronutrients are broken down into their constituent micronutrients so that they can be used to produce energy within the body. These processes are much more complex than I thought they would be and so I wrote my notes that made it much easier for me to understand and this also involved a lot of research online.
