Types & Transmission:
Hep A: Fecal-oral route; usually acute
Hep B: Blood, sexual contact, perinatal; may become chronic
Hep C: Blood; high risk of chronic infection
Hep D: Requires Hep B; worsens prognosis
Hep E: Fecal-oral, rare in developed countries
Symptoms:
Fatigue, malaise
Nausea, vomiting
Jaundice (yellowing of skin/eyes)
