How to improve your English
● Practice your business vocabulary with “English at Work” (BBC animated series
focusing on English communication in the office).
● Use dictionaries, e.g. Cambridge online dictionary: For each word, you will find an
English description, example sentences, and you can hear the word spoken by a
native speaker (both British and American English).
● Have it read out: Reader
● Practice speaking English:
Speak English with family and friends (preferably native speakers). Read or inform
yourself about your hobbies and interests in English.
When waking up in the morning, think about what you are going to do that day (in
English) and look up the words you do not know. Do the same in the evening: think
about what you have done that day and talk about it in English to yourself or to
family and friends.
