In this paper, I will identify the professional code of ethics and discuss the issues
that may arise in my profession. I will list the key points of the code and explain how
they can be applied to my current career. Additionally, I will explain the benefits of the
code and show how we can implement it effectively.
A professional code of ethics and conduct sets standards that apply to all
professionals in each occupation. Key points of this code include one professional does
not discriminate against any person based on age, gender, orientation, background,
beliefs, or lifestyle choices. Two professionals support competence and show exacting
standards of professionalism. Three professionals assume responsibility and take
accountability for their actions. Four professionals avoid causing harm, reduce liability,
respect the rights of others, and adhere to local laws. Five make sure to make morally
