Reflection
In this reflection, I would like to address my point of view of seeing how this PowerPoint
went overall.
I did a PowerPoint presentation with Phoebe Watts and it went I believe, perfectly well. We
both knew a lot about Amazon which was the business we selected to speak about. We
knew the reasons of why Amazon became so successful due to its innovation and
enterprise. Furthermore, I also believe we also put a great substantial work ethic to produce
all this and to show Suzanne our ability of understanding during presentation and report.
PowerPoint succession for us came mainly through the confidence we developed through
our deep understanding of the business and presenting ability in a mature pace for Suzanne
to hear perfectly and understand clearly.
Suzanne did mention on the feedback that I did spoke in detail and explained perfectly and
appeared to be thereby confident and a natural public speaker which I believe is somewhat
true as I made sure to get over my fear of public speaking and focused more on the
PowerPoint we had to deliver in a distinction standard. However, according to Suzanne the
only improvement I can develop is on questioning the audience if they understand
everything about the Slide content which I do agree with. However, I did mention “Is there
any questions? “at the end.
I did make sure to have the correct body language and posture when presenting and made
sure me and Phoebe will be more focused on our clear speech and body language before
the presentation. This is because it can really impress the listener and make them
understand clearly of what being is said.
My partner Phoebe also did a tremendous job in this presentation as she learnt a lot about
Amazons life and was especially perfect at giving locations and examples of Amazon’s
newest opportunities that they will face up.
Suzanne did mention she needed to slower down her pace which I agree with. On the other
hand, Phoebe did talk well and detailed but a little slower would have made Suzanne
understand things more. Due to Phoebe’s detailed knowledge on Amazon she made great
eye contact with Suzanne to ensure how confident and calm she can be. Suzanne did
mention on the feedback she did a great job in knowing details about Amazon and their
warehouses locations which was very impressive even to me.
