County Court has no jury but a single judge, who will try to ensure the
parties co operate and reach an amicable decision and settle a case.
The judge will decide on the remedy for example – issue an injunction ;
decide damages ; make care orders etc.

Can directly examine their party and cross-examine the other party
Cab rank rule = must take all cases within their specified field

Solicitors
Lawyers who can provide legal advice to clients and liaise directly with
barristers
Jury
12 members of the public selected by the electoral register
Deliberate evidence and conclude a guilty or not guilty verdict
Must be 11/1 or unanimous or it is a 'hung jury'
