Introduction

Agencies work together in order to further promote individuals health for example
multi disciplinary teams work together in order to provider better care for the service
user.As different organisations might come together in order to provide an effective
plan for a example a nurse and a advocate from a residential care home can come
together to make a plan for a person that needs to be placed in a care home.As well
as health professionals come together and use teamwork in order to give the service
user better care for example a doctor and a nurse may tend to conjure forces in
order to provide effective care




Roles of organisations responsible for commissioning healthcare services

The CCG otherwise known as Clinical Commissioning Groups are made up of health
professionals including nurses and doctors.They are known to use their knowledge
to provide the best possible services for the patients .Through the CCG it allows the
care to be improved for patients through the knowledge of nearby services as its
commissioned in response to the patients needs.The CCG has a role to make an
assessment of the health needs of the area as they aim to “give patients,
communities and clinicians more scope in deciding how local services are developed
and more influence over the wider NHS budget”18.-Unit-5-LAD---Task-1---TES
Accessed 18th March 2022.As well as the CCG wants to allow doctors, nurses and
the other health professionals a greater responsibility when providing individualised
care.The Clinical Commissioning groups consist of health professionals and GP
practices.The CCG meets individual needs by promoting the individual's choice and
preference as well making sure that the services are culturally sensitive in order to
further promote their wellbein.As the CCG must also consider the value for money as
some individuals may not be financially capable of receiving certain treatments.

Local authorities

Local authorities are “statutory responsibilities for public health services are set out

18th March 2022.As this act is used to clarify the ne duties the local authority has
when it comes to improving public as the local authority have gained the
responsibility of a range public health services which have been given by the
NHS.These services include services tat adress alcohol misuse aswell as drug
misuse and sexual health services.Through “Working together with health and care
providers, community groups and other agencies, they prevent ill health by
encouraging people to live healthier lives”18.-Unit-5-LAD---Task-1---TES Accessed
18th March 2022.Local authorities have the aim to put individuals at the centre of the
plan through using a person centred approach.In the local authority there are
housing and NHS partners involved as well as the use of the public health outcomes
frameworks, adult social care outcomes and making it real statements.Local
responsibilities have the responsibility to give out information and advice about
support and care service users are entitled to.These local authorities must have
“accessible ways of retrieving information, including; websites, leaflets, GPS offices
tailored to the needs of local people.”18.-Unit-5-LAD---Task-1---TES Accessed 18th
March 2022..They meet needs by finding preventative services needed in an area as
well ass by “Adapting home and providing simple aids to meet needs”18.-Unit-5-

Role of bodies responsible for integrating health and social care


Health and Wellbeing Boards


First of all Health and Wellbeing Boards are a part of the The Health and Social Care
Act 2012 this board was first introduced in.The boards act as a forum of the social
care and health leaders as they aim to include public services for health and social
care. They do this by having 4 key points : “Assess the needs of their local
population,Reduce inequalities in provision,Set out strategies and shared
approaches for local authorities, CCGs and NHS England to use to improve their
commission decisions and Encourage greater integration and more partnership
working, such as joint commissioning, integrated provision and shared budgets
and leadership”18.-Unit-5-LAD---Task-1---TES Accessed 21st March 2022.These
bards have the role of making strategic needs assessments which are called JSNAS
