Read the following article found under Prescribed reading list folder and then answer the
questions:
Modiri JM “Conquest and constitutionalism: First thoughts on an alternative
jurisprudence” (2018) SAJHR 300 – 325.
You must write a critical essay on this article, and include the following in your answer:
1. Provide a summary explaining what philosophical approach Modiri is advocating and the
reasons for his approach. (Max 300 words).

think his approach is valid. (Max 600 words).

3. Using any of the philosophies you have studied, provide your own response to this article.
