Question 1

Change

Change is defined as a state of transition moving towards a new condition, without
being breaking away from the historical past. It can be used to describe the changing
of major events over a period of time through the process of cause and impacts.

Examples

1. The French revolution

Learners should know that there was a fundamental change in the social, political
and economic structure and government of the France in 1789.Learners should
know that France was divided into classes of the First estate, which was made up of
the clergies that owned one tenth of the land and enjoyed certain privileges, the
second estate that was made up of the nobles that owned one third of the land and
did not pay taxes to the government and the third estate made up of the rest of the
population and they did not enjoy any privileges. In France the financial crisis and
the poor harvests were the main triggers that led to the king and the existing social
order. The grievances were widespread among peasants , middle class and the poor

forced unemployed people to move to Paris to look for jobs food and shelter due to
poor harvests. Learners should know that the poor classes and the masses on the

carts to transport goods in dirty dusty roads but after industrial revolution people
developed trains and trucks and ships that can transport goods as quickly as
possible and the developed tarmac roads and railway lines. Before the Industrial
revolution people were doing open mining cause they could not break big stones and
drain water underground but after industrial revolution people had machines that can
blasts big rocks and drain water from underground ,so they managed to mine deeper
