• Day 1 (Friday): Developed dry cough after returning from preschool
• Day 2 (Saturday): Cough worsened, began wheezing, mild shortness of
breath during play
• Current (Sunday): Symptoms escalated overnight; audible wheeze at rest,
increased work of breathing
