We had an in-depth assignment where we could pick a novel and compare it to a film adaptation. I picked "Carrie" by Stephen King and its 2013 film adaptation because it offered some interesting differences, e.g. the use of social media. My assignment also consists of analyzing interesting shooting angles, lighting, etc., and how the movie is separated into parts according to the Hollywood model.
