feeding in context- covers the rules of feeding, how much to feed, what you are looking for in feed, body condition scoring and factors that affect feeding.

the equine GI tract- foregut and hindgut functions,follows the journey of food through the GI tract- looking closely at the mouth, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, pancreas, large intestine and colon. also looks at digestion and absorption.

equine feed rationing and ingredients- covers basic nutrients, ingredient quality, nutrient requirements, nutrient calculations, concentrate feeds, assessing workload, energy levels and factors that affect ration.

equine nutrition fundamentals- energy, nutrients such as carbohydrates, protein, fibre, volatile fatty acids, sugar, starch, oils and fats. Also covers decisions surrounding feeding forage.

introduction into supplements- why do we use them and do we need them?
