DIREKTE REDE
 DEFINITION:
It is a sentence that shows the words a speaker is saying in that
moment.
(LIKE YOU ARE HAVING A CONVERSATION.)

 EXAMPLE:
 Angela says, “I use to be an Olympic athlete.”
 “I ran away like something was chasing me,” Saskia stated.
 Mia says, “I want to become a University Proffesor.”


INDIRECT SPEECH
INDIREKTE REDE
 DEFINITION:
It is a sentence that a speaker has spoken.
(IT’S WHAT YOU ARE TELLING YOUR FRIEND THAT SOMEONE ELSE
SAID.)

 EXAMPLE:
 Angela said that she use to be an olympic athlete.
 Saskia stated that she ran away like something was chasing her.
 Mia said that she wants to become a University Proffesor.

 DEFINITION:
A sentence in which the focus is on the subject doing the action.

ORDER OF THE SENTENCE=
Subject…Verb…Object.

SUBJECT= Onderwerp
Who/What the sentence is about.

OBJECT= VoorwerpWhat is used in a sentence. (Props)

VERB= Gesegde
The action taking place.

 EXAMPLE:
 My dad is washing the car.
 Heilee is buttering the bread.
 They were walking the dogs.
