, Voorwoord
Beste lezer,

Wij zijn Edmond, Casper, Joris en Femke en zijn tweedejaars
studenten Business Studies aan de Hogeschool Inholland in Alkmaar. Voor
het vak OE31 Beroepsproduct exportbeleidsplan is een plan
voor bloemenbedrijf Tuning geschreven.

Sinds september zijn wij bezig met het schrijven van dit exportplan en zijn
dan ook trots op het eindresultaat.
Graag willen wij ons begeleidend docent Bianca van der Maat bedanken voor
de leerzame online lessen en de lessen op locatie. Tijdens deze lessen konden
wij altijd onze vragen stellen en feedback ontvangen. Dit heeft ons zeer
geholpen bij het schrijven van dit exportbeleidsplan. Tevens willen wij de
geïnterviewde personen bedanken voor hun tijd en moeite. Verder willen wij
in het speciaal Annelies Yurdakan bedanken. Zij is werkzaam bij Tuning als
HR-medewerkster en hebben haar meerdere malen mogen benaderen met
vraagstukken over dit project.

, Executive summary
Situation
This is a rapport written by Femke Draaisma, Edmond Jusufi, Casper van
den Bos and Joris Groen for Tuning BV. Tuning wants to become a
worldwide flower supplier and created an assignment for us. The assignment
in this rapport includes the ways in how to enter a new market by researching
the possibilities and creating a strategy which suits Tuning’s standards.

The chosen export country and entry
After taking several countries in consideration, we concluded that the
German market is the most promising country to invest in. Hereby is using a
domestic sales representative the most effective way to penetrate the market
and still be able to maintain control while having low costs.

Target audience & Positioning
950 flower retailers and 12 wholesalers located in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
We recommend differentiation by adding value in quality and delivery time.

Marketing strategy
Product Standardization package and text in German.
Price Standardization depending on flowers and set on an average of €6
Place Adaption using Buncher Transport as forwarder.
Promotion Adaption  SEA and SEO in German, making use of German
flower retail communities.

Conclusion
Based on the conclusions above and in the rapport itself, we can state that
investing in Germany is beneficial. Tuning will make profit because they
surpass their break even. On terms of net value, the investment is worth it.
