Short story:

Ann and her pony

Ann Higgins lives in a very small village. A village full of beautiful
plants, trees, waterfalls and rivers.

She lives with her mom and dad and 3 older brothers. They are 5 people
living in their beautiful home. Her brothers always love to ride their
horses but Ann has a beautiful, black pony that she loves dearly and
ride every day. Her pony’s name is Bella

Bella and Ann often play together and love their afternoon rides in the
village. Ann’s brothers love swimming in the river nearby the village
and will often get their horses to take them to the river. Then Ann will
go with them on her pony and just enjoy nature while they ride through
the forest. Ann and Bella are always last to get to the river because her
brothers always races each other to the river to see who can get there
first. But Bella and Ann take their time to appreciate the sun, the trees
and the animals they see on their way to the river.

,One day Bella was sick and couldn’t take Ann to the river. Ann stayed at
Bella’s side the whole night and next day, giving her food and water to
make sure she gets well. Bella was so happy when Bella finally got
better when she went to see how she is doing one morning. Bella ran to
her mother and asked her for a treat for Bella!

That afternoon when Ann’s brothers went to the river to go swim, Bella
and Ann was there before them! Ann took such care of Bella and
therefore the pony couldn’t wait to get outside and just ran and
enjoyed being healthy again.

The moral of the story is that love can cure anything… even a pony like
Bella.
