Dear OPM students
I hope you are well.
The year is fast drawing to an end, and we need to do some revision to prepare for the final
summative examination, which is scheduled to be written in October 2025. Your E Tutors will
engaged with a revision program, and it is important that you attend.
The university will soon officially release the exam dates. If you have obtained entrance to the
OPM1501 examination, your personal timetable will indicate this. You will also have access to
the exam module site for OPM1501. ONLY Students who made the exam entrance will have
access.
You may handwrite or type your answers. No Turnitin is used in the examination.
I am giving you a breakdown for the exam, and I would request you to please revise the
following:
1. The duration of the paper is 3 1/2 hours, that is 3 hours 30 minutes.
2. a maximum mark of 100.
3. The proctoring tool that is used for this examination is the invigilator app. This is
mandatory, meaning that the students must use this app while writing the examination
4. The question paper consists of seven questions, and the following topics are included.

Question one
Flow diagrams dash input and output values. The students must be able to calculate input and
output values, and they must also be able to calculate the operation that is performed on inpu
and output values that are given.
Question 2
Patterns and sequences. Learners need to draw the next pattern or the next few patterns.
Learners need to be able to give the general formula to calculate the nth pattern.
Question 3
Compensation, Deans blocks, divisibility coma place value.
Comparing fractions using area model.-please do examples with students
Multiplication of fractions using area model-please do examples with students
Question 4
Problem-solving word problems
Question 5

Types of graphs and plotting stem and leaf.
