One of the e-learning implementation challenges likely to be experienced at sunrise
ha to do with lack of resources. A resource is a source or supply from which a benefit
is produced and that has some utility and, in this instance, there is shortage of computers
at Sunrise (Deb,2010).

full implementation of e-learning because of the shortage of resources like computers.”

Another challenge is lack of efficient intranet. An intranet is a computer network for
sharing information, collaboration tools, operational systems, and other computing
services within an organization, usually to the exclusion of access by outsiders

Case study: She says they still have to work on the efficiency of their intranet and data
procurement for employees to access e-learning portals on the internet.

Another challenge is lack of the required learning management system. A learning
management system is a software application for the administration, documentation,
tracking, reporting, automation and delivery of educational courses, training programs, or
learning and development programs. The learning management system concept
emerged directly from e-learning (Deb,2010).

Case study: In addition, the organisation would have to invest in additional computer
hardware and software, specifically a learning management system that would be used
to host the e-learning platform and deliver the training opportunities to the employees.

Lastly, lack of motivation to implement the system due to past experiences will also likely
hinder effective implementation of e-learning.

Case study: Moreover, past training has not yielded positive results in terms of increased
sales. Sales and profits are down and as a result she is not willing to invest in another
training technique
