main types: proper fractions, improper fractions, and mixed
fractions. Let’s look at them one by one in a simple way.

1. Proper Fractions
o A proper fraction is when the top number (numerator) is
smaller than the bottom number (denominator).
o This means the fraction is less than 1 whole.
