Terwyl hy veg teen sy eie demone soos alkoholisme en twyfel oor sy waarde as
speurder, moet hy jonger kollegas mentor en die waarheid agterhaal voordat nog
lewens verloor gaan. Die roman is ‟n riller wat binne ‟n enkele dag afspeel, met
meedoënlose tydsdruk en veelvuldige narratieflyne wat saamsmelt tot ‟n
onvergeetlike klimaks.
