1.1.1 School assessment plan vs Teacher assessment plan
School assessment plan is a document that outline what the teacher is supposed to
assess during the academic year.It guides the teacher on the type of assessment
should be given to learners whilst teacher assessment plan is a document used to
determine the level of knowledge and skills of a learner for future learning.

1.1.2 Self assessment vs peer assessment
Self assessment is when an individual assess his or her work using an established set
of criteria whilst peer assessment is when learners themselves assess the work of
each other in pairs.

1.1.3 Physical bullying vs emotional bullying
Emotional bullying is the behavioral actions designed to harm the reputation or
cause humiliation by the use of words to mock, shock or tease or exclude someone
from a group so as to make them angry or afraid that can lead to depression or poor
academic whilst physical bullying involves physical contact such as hitting, pushing,
pitching or even damaging property or causing scars on the human body.

1.2 Mention and explain the three effects of substance abuse

a) Infections
When a person is intoxicated by substance abuse can lead to a person to forget to
practise safe sex leading to sexually transmitted diseases like HIV and hepatitis B.
Sharing needles to inject drugs in veins can lead to transmission of diseases.

b) Health complications
Substance abuse can lead to abnomal heart rates and heart attacks, and injecting
drugs can lead to collapsed veins and infections in the heart valves.They can also
stop the growing of bones , kidney and liver damage and muscle cramps.

c) Legal consequences
Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol can also lead to imprisonment or
suspension of the license of the driver or to pay a heavy penalty or a criminal record
that will hinder a person from not getting a job or that can lead to dismissal from
work as most companies to test blood for drugs or alcohol before the beginning of
the work.
