, Introduction
What makes project management different from other management practices
activities?
Project management is generally different from other management activities
because every project is different and therefore, each project has unique aspec
to manage.
The requirements and scope (aspects such as technicalities, resources and
situations) of each project is also diverse, demanding a different management
approach.
With project management, the team is under pressure to deliver on time, with
budget, and meet the required quality standards. The stakeholders for each
project are most likely also different, making project management a continuou
learning experience.
