Your supervisor (Ms. Ismail) handed you the last client file (Betty’s Bakery – pages 6 to 13 of this
document) that Mr Mudau was working on before his demise. She requests you to work through the
file and submit a proposal on how to manage issues at Betty’s Bakery as soon as you can. She
understands that this may be your first task handling such a big project, so she guides you by providing
you with specific tasks to work on. These are indicated below.
Task 1:
1. You need to peruse through the case file (pages 6 – 13 of this document) that Mr Mudau has
compiled. In order to wrap your head around the case, you decide to work meticulously through
all the documents. The case file includes (1) company background information, (2) a copy of the
employment contract between Betty’s Bakery and their employees, (3) an interview transcript
between Mr Mudau and a waitron from Betty’s Bakery and (4) some of Mr Mudau’s notes.
