In 2025, national nutrition week will run from 6-11 October 2025, and as a PR practitioner you are asked to use the RAISE formula to develop an awareness and educational campaign specifically for school children (aged 7-13) in the rural Limpopo, South Africa. The campaign is to educate your chosen target audience about the importance of nutritional education, and healthy eating. Your campaign must educate the target audience about healthy eating as a possible solution against the national overweight and obesity crisis. The campaign must be translated for both traditional and digital media, and you are allocated a period of 14-days time-frame to do this campaign. In your campaign plan we want to see the day-to-day strategies and activities for the campaign. Your campaign strategies, campaign activities, campaign name, campaign message must be clearly detailed in your campaign. The allocated budget will be R3 million, so you need to include a breakdown of how this budget will be utilized in your campaign. In a table format students should provide a detailed breakdown of how the allocated budget was used for this campaign. Remember your campaign needs to be educational and raise awareness about the importance of nutritional education, and healthy eating. Use the RAISE formula to guide you in structuring YOUR OWN campaign, and also to present your campaign. The RAISE formula is the most frequently adopted formula used by public relations and it stands for research, adaptation and implementation of strategy and evaluation. According to this formula, a public relations campaign involves the following steps:  Research– this step points to the process of discovering all the relevant facts around the issue or situation. Various methods are often used to research the issue or situation, determine the issue or situation, and formulate it in a statement.  Adaptation– this step requires the organization to adapt to the identified problem and includes formulating objectives, identifying and distinguishing between the different public's, researching possible solutions, determining resources and developing a system of continuous liaison with management.  Whichshortcomings do you need to address in future?  To what extent have you achieved the learning outcomes formulated for each study unit? Specify the learning outcomes you have achieved. SOURCESCONSULTEDLIST [1] Students should correctly reference and cite sources in-text and in the sources consulted list.
