Definition:
African socialism refers to a political and economic ideology

integration of traditional African values with socialist principles.
It advocates for a system where the state plays an active role in
the economy, but the people, especially local communities,
retain control over resources. African socialism promotes the
idea of development rooted in Africa’s indigenous cultures and
traditions, while also embracing modernity and the needs of the
continent’s growth.
