us what you learnt and how you intend to use this knowledge in future

In Assignment 01, I did a quiz about San rock art and what it tells us about the past. I
learned that the San people painted pictures on rocks and in caves to tell stories about
their lives. These paintings show hunting scenes, animals, and special dances. The San
believed that these drawings had a deep meaning and were connected to their spiritual
beliefs. They often painted shamans (spiritual leaders) in a trance, which they believed
helped them talk to the spirit world.
The quiz also taught me how historians and archaeologists study these paintings to
learn more about the San people. They use old stories passed down through
generations and look closely at the paintings to understand what life was like long ago. I
also learned that rock art is important because it helps us remember the history of the
San people, even though they didn’t write things down like we do today.
This knowledge will help me in future assignments because I now understand how to
look at old pictures and find meaning in them. I also learned that history is not just about
words in books—it can be found in art, stories, and traditions. When I write essays, I will
think about different types of evidence and not just focus on written records. This will
help me explain history in a better way and understand the past more clearly.
