INF4825
Examination Portfolio
Due date is 14 January 2025, before 23:00.
INSTRUCTIONS:
This examination portfolio covers all outcomes of the INF4825 module. You must read the case
study carefully, then answer each of questions and relate your answers to the case study. The
foundational information that you use to support your arguments and conclusions should be based
on academic papers that you found on one of the following three web platforms: Web of Science,
Scopus, and EBSCO. As you are aware, these platforms are available via the Unisa library website.
You will compile a single reference list for the portfolio which you need to show at the end of the
assignment. You must use Harvard or APA format for your reference list.
You must use a Unisa front page, and you must sign the plagiarism pledge.
Submit your assignment as a pdf document on myUnisa before the deadline.
Do not commit any form of plagiarism (including having AI write your assignment). Unisa takes
plagiarism very seriously and if you commit plagiarism, you may be subjected to disciplinary action,
which may have serious consequences for your studies at Unisa. You can read more about it here
https://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/myunisa/default/Study-@-Unisa/Student-values-and-rules. You will
be penalised for plagiarism as follows: Serious cases will be referred for disciplinary action. For less
serious cases the following will apply: The marker will peruse the Turnitin report and will exclude (1)
bibliography, (2) citations; (3) quotations. For the text that remains, the similarity must be less than
20%. If the similarity is more than 20% the penalty that will be applied is (Similarity percentage –
20)/2, and this will be subtracted from your mark. I.e., if your percentage is 50%, then the penalty is
(50 – 20)/2 = 15%, which is subtracted from your examination percentage. You are again reminded
that serious cases will be referred for disciplinary action. Also, do not try and subvert Turnitin in any
way. This will lead to serious penalties or disciplinary action.
Please note that the deadline for submission is 14 January 2025 at 23:00.
Unique assignment number is 813073.
