Semester 1 2025 - DUE March 2025; 100% correct solutions
and explanations.
Disenke and Ditena work for Mafia Construction (Pty) Ltd
(MC) as bricklayers. Assume that Disenke and Ditena have been
placed at the 4th Floor to put plaster on the walls of the building.
It emerged that the structure that they were putting a plaster on
was not dry enough to carry or support the weight of two fully-
grown humans and as a result, it fell on Disenke, causing him
several injuries. He was rushed to the doctor who examined him
and later issued a medical report which indicated that Disenke
would not be able to work anymore as his injuries were severe.
His injuries include broken arms, a neck, and a hip.
