These tests are conducted to predict the probable performance and retain ability of
a candidate as they focus on scrutinizing the skills and ability of a candidate. De
beers would then choose the candidate ideal to their needs.
, iii. Cognitive Test
These tests measure the memory, reasoning capacity, accuracy, arithmetic and
language fluency and reading capacity of a client. This would help the company
owners to choose a candidate who can communicate with many clients fluently
and peers and also make wise decisions when working.
iv. Physical Ability Tests
These are very necessary in identifying the physical health state of an employee,
strength and stamina which helps understand one’s ability to handle pressure
without compromising their health.
v. Drug tests
These are important as they show the presence of drugs or alcohol in the system.
Drug tests determine if the employee has been using certain chemicals in recent
weeks.
