• Write or type neatly. If you write, please do so in a black/dark pen.
• If you have written your answers, scan all the pages in the correct order and upload
them as one PDF document on to the myExams platform (from where you

document as one PDF and upload it to the myExams platform.

Instructions on the day of assessment/exam
• Log in to The Invigilator app. Your cellphone must be connected to the internet in order for you to
log in and to scan the QR code. See page 2.
• Scan the QR code provided above as soon as you have downloaded the question paper during the
15-minute download window. Note that you can only scan the QR code for a limited time and you
should therefore scan it as soon as possible to start the invigilation.
• If you have difficulty scanning the QR code, you can enter the QR access code that appears below
the QR code in order to start with the assessment/exam.
• Once you have scanned the QR code, you can place your cellphone next to you. The Invigilator
will notify you when an action is required. Ensure that the media volume on your cellphone is
turned up.
• You can access myExams in the application if you only have one device, by pressing the “Access
LMS” button.
• Keep your cellphone on charge for the duration of the assessment/exam.
• Keep The Invigilator open on your cellphone during the assessment/exam. You are not allowed to
leave or minimise the app. When an action is required, you will hear a notification beep. You must
then comply with the request.
• Ensure that your cellphone is connected to the internet when you start with the examination, as
well as at the end of the examination.
• It is important to upload your answer script on to myExams before you upload The Invigilator app
data. Since the uploading of the app data is not time-sensitive, you can do that after you have
uploaded your answer script on to myExams.
• You must adhere to the time limit for the myExams assessment/exam.
• You can click on the “Finish Assessment” button in the app if you finish early.
• If you encounter any technical difficulties, send a WhatsApp to The Invigilator Helpdesk on 073
