What is the Honor Code? - Answer-"A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those
who do."
What is one word that describes you? - Answer-Personable
What are your best and worst characteristics? - Answer-I believe that my best
characteristics are dependability, personability, and a strong work ethic. I think that my
worst characteristic is procrastination which is something I am continually working on
and improving on.
Describe a difficult time/event in your life, and how did you overcome it? - Answer-S-
Sophomore year of lacrosse I made varsity and my head coach switched my position. I
didn't play much at all and was really frustrated.
T- Although I was frustrated, I was determined to do whatever it took to earn playing
time.
A- To understand what I needed to work on, I had multiple conversations with my
assistant coach before and after practices. He told me that although I didn't have the
best skills on the team, if I go 100% at every practice and improve on everything my
head coach told me to then I would get playing time. So for the rest of the year I put in
more effort than anyone else at practice. I hustled after every ground ball and went all
out whenever we had to do sprints. I focused on the things I needed to improve on and
got better.
R- Right before our playoff game at the end of the season, my head coach pulled me
aside during practice and told me that because of my hard work and being coachable
that I earned a spot on the second line of middies.
How did you first learn about USAFA? - Answer-I first learned about USAFA growing
up. I heard about it and knew what it was but I didn't think about it a lot until I visited the
Naval Academy my sophomore year. This is what sparked my interest in attending a
service academy
