Define the terms.
`Accountability: the ability and willingness of an individual to assume
responsibility for his or her actions and accept the consequences of his or her
behavior
Responsibility: a specific obligation or specific accountability or liability associated
with performance of duties of a particular role
Standards of Care (Standards of practice): Guidelines used to determine what a
nurse should or should not do
Socialization: The process by which individuals learn to become members of
groups and society and learn the social rules defining relationships into which
they will enter.
