Slide 2- Ethical and Policy Factors in Care Coordination
Hi everyone! I am (Student Name). After considering the options presented by my nurse
manager, I have decided that the local community organizations, such as the Rotary Club or
Kiwanis Club, would be the most appropriate audience for a presentation on ethical and policy
issues related to the coordination of care.
The Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club are both well-established community organizations
that is committed to improving the lives of community members (Illinois Library Association,
2019) Their members will likely be engaged and interested in learning about healthcare issues,
including ethical and policy issues related to caring coordination. Additionally, these
organizations often invite guest speakers to present on various topics, making them an ideal
venue to share my knowledge and expertise as a care center representative. By speaking to these
groups, I can raise awareness of the importance of ethical and policy issues related to care
coordination and help community members become more informed advocates for their own
healthcare needs. Overall, I believe that presenting to the Rotary Club or Kiwanis Club would be
an excellent opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise on contemporary issues in care
coordination, while also developing my speaking and presentation skills.

of multiple healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, social workers, and other care
team members, to provide a seamless and coordinated approach to care delivery (Karam et al.,

Effective coordination of care is essential in promoting patient safety, reducing healthcare
