,MNE2601 Assignment 4 PITCH (COMPLETE
ANSWERS) Semester 2 2024 - DUE 24 October
2024; 100% TRUSTED Complete, trusted solutions
and explanations.
The purpose of a pitch is to tell your story in an organised way
that is understandable to your audience. You are required to
come up with a pitch for your innovative idea. Your idea needs
to be innovative. Refer to section 9.6.2.2 AND 9.6.2.3 of your
prescribed textbook and ensure that you have addressed each
of the points on what to do before and during the pitch.
Therefore, your answer should be in two parts: before the pitch
(how you prepare) and the actual pitch (your presentation).
Your presentation should be in the form of a PowerPoint
presentation (document converted to pdf) lasting no more than
10 minutes when presented orally (therefore you are required
to practise your pitch before submission).
For your pitch assignment, I’ll guide you on both preparation
(before the pitch) and how to organize your presentation. Let’s
structure the task accordingly:

Before the Pitch (Preparation)
Before giving a pitch, there are several crucial steps you must
follow to ensure you're fully prepared. Drawing on sections
9.6.2.2 and 9.6.2.3 of your textbook, your preparation should
include:

, 1. Understand Your Audience:
o Research your audience's interests, needs, and
problems they might want solutions for.
o Tailor your message to what resonates most with your
audience, addressing their pain points.
2. Clarify Your Message:
o Ensure your innovative idea is clear and focused.
o Have a clear value proposition—why is your idea
beneficial, and what problem does it solve?
3. Structure Your Story:
o Organize the content of your pitch logically, beginning
with the problem, followed by your solution, its
benefits, and how you will execute it.
o Use storytelling techniques to engage the audience
emotionally.
4. Refine Your Visuals:
o Design a clean, visually appealing PowerPoint that
enhances your message rather than distracts.
o Limit the number of words on each slide—use bullet
points, visuals, and charts to keep it engaging.
5. Practice:
