life is nice tasting, It is inside you in the heart, Also in a closed book, When you open it you read

diviners. Enjoyment and pain walk together, Just like darkness is the brother of the night; And
light is the brother of the afternoon.
(i) Identify and rewrite any 2 poetic devices that the poet has used in the poem. (4)
(ii) In what way does the poem above differ from a narrative text like a short story? Give only

In literature, conflict refers to the struggle between opposing forces that drive the plot and create
tension within a story. Conflict can be internal or external.
• Internal conflict occurs within a character when they experience personal dilemmas or
emotional struggles. For example, a character might be torn between doing what is right
and following their desires.
