What psychological construct is assessed by X Questionnaire?
1. Environmental attitude (whole construct)
2. Sensitivity for context and mindfulness (part of construct)
3. Community and industry leaders in SA (role players)
What is the Purpose of a program?
1. The purpose of the Program is clearly to change individuals’ attitudes towards their
environment.
2. No, the Program purpose is to improve the ways in which people engage with their
environment.
3. Actually, the purpose of the program is to improve involvement in environmental
care projects.
How do we determine whether a Program has any effect?
1. We have to determine whether people change in term of environmental knowledge,
environmental awareness and sensitivity for context and mindfulness.
2. We have to develop a method to observe how people respond after they completed
the program.
3. People cannot respond to the program…
Suppose we want to develop a method to measure how people respond to the program,
let’s call it the X questionnaire. My question is, how do we approach this task?
1. We operationalise environmental knowledge, environmental awareness, and
sensitivity for context and mindfulness in terms of tasks or questions that people
can respond to.
2. We construct the tasks or questions that the X Questionnaire will consist of.
3. We operationalise the X Questionnaire in terms of the manner in which
communities and industries engage with their environments, the involvement care
projects and the X Program.
