This assignment is a mini research proposal.
You were introduced to the concepts which constitute a research proposal in assignment
02.
The following were the concepts, not in any order for a research proposal.
Introduction, research question, research objective, theoretical framework, research
design, sample, instruments, research problem and the conclusion.

SCENARIO

You are an honours Technology Education student in a final year study programme. One of
the requirements is that you must present or write a research proposal for you to obtain a
certificate for the qualification. In order to complete the research proposal, read and use
the section on TASK to complete the proposal.
The Technology Education curriculum dictates for specifics which have to be taught to the
students. The following serve as core to which the Technology Education curriculum
revolves: structures, mechanical systems and control, electrical systems and processing.

Present a Technology Education proposal based on the following.

TASK

1.1 Write a topic for your proposal. (4)
1.2 What is the research problem under investigation? Write it in the form of a
scenario. (6)
1.3 Write an introduction for your proposal. (10)
1.4 Take a 3 minutes video introducing the proposal in 1.1 above. (10)
1.5 Write a research question of your research proposal. (3)
1.6 Craft a research objective for your proposal. (3)
1.7 Take a 3 minutes video of yourself explaining both the research question and the
research objective. Place the video here. (10)
1.8 Name the theoretical framework for the proposal. (2)
1.9 Explain the theoretical framework with a small video and place it here. (10)
1.10 Take a 3 minutes video and explain the research design of the proposal. (10)
1.11 What is the sample of the proposal? (2)
1.12 Provide with a 3 minutes video where you explain the instruments which you will
use to collect data for your proposal. (10)
1.13 Provide with a conclusion to your proposal. (10)
1.14 Take a 3 minutes video for the conclusion section and include it in this
question. (10)
