General infrastructure is:

 Airport, rail, bus terminals
 Electrical power, sanitation, drainage
 Telecommunications, internet
 Financial systems, education system
 National defense
 Normally delivered by government (but may have been privatized)

 Food stores, book stored, hairdressers, garages, gas stations
