information or ideas, along with freedom of artistic creativity; and
academic freedom and freedom of scientific research.’ In the contextual
reference to the social media, freedom of expression as a right has since
been a breakaway forte for many who have no space and or place to voice
out their aforementioned powers and or freely express our creative psyche
on platforms needing no tedious or highly demanding processes to share
one’s views, perspective, standpoint and of course in majority of
expressions, a sharing of one’s own life moments commonly displayed
through videos, photographs or other recording tools that can allow
netizens to actively and ideally express themselves freely. However, the
downside of the freedom of expression on such spaces and platforms is
the abuse of the rightful privilege to share whatever one feels or wants to
without careful consideration of the consequences of uploading
defamation, insults, assaults, bullying and many other ills carried along
with the freedom to.

1.3] Racism as a word has since absorbed a hefty load of demeaning
perceptions on different people towards others. Due to the term being
identified as a divisive practise or ideology that separates people by ‘race’,
as it were, and doing so on the ranking ploys of putting one over another
by intellectual superiority, social stance and or cognitive expressions of
insignificant prospects for universal humane recognition, racism, today on
social media is rampantly showcased, deepened and outrightly purported.
No human being, no person and no solemn juristic individual should be
subjected to the racial placates of degradation, humiliation and ridicule for
just being what they are born as. Social media, through the years has
grown to develop a culture to build communities of on racial merit, but
social media platforms have also been instrumental for tackling the plight
of racism in several realistic communities. There has not been a more
pruned provision to ideally deal with racism because social media allows
anyone to connect with anyone. It is then, according to manifold policies
on non-discriminatory, non-racialistic use of social media, a provision that
