What is a TURP? - ANS-Transurethral resection of the prostate
What are some post op examples of ways to prevent complications after a TURP? -
ANS--Increase CBI rate if bright red is seen
-If it becomes obstructed irrigate with 50mL
-Call the provider if the clot cannot be dislodged call the doctor

TURP catheter complications - ANS--The patient will feel a constant need to void
-Initial voiding can be painful and red in color
