OUTLINE OF TEST 2 2024
Assessment 2 is based on:
❖ Theme 1: Psychometric Theory - Topic 1.2: Test development, test adaptation and
translation as well as
❖ Theme 2: Types of psychological assessment measures and
❖ Theme 3: Application of assessment in different contexts (see Tutorial letter 102).
❖ The assignment is timed, and you should therefore have a thorough understanding of
the study material before you attempt to do the assignment.
❖ Only two submission opportunities are provided.
❖ Unique number: 850564.
❖ The assignment comprises 15 MCQ questions.
❖ Worth 15% of the mark
HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE QUIZ
• Every student gets a unique quiz. Each attempt will also give you a new quiz.
Therefore, you need to prepare well because each quiz has only 1 attempt for you to
do well.
• The lecturers have a pool of 150+ questions and each student will receive a set of 15
questions. Each year they change their pool of questions but it follows a similar
theme or similar structure – BASED ON THE ARTICLES
• This is important as I will not have the 2024 questions or answers. Therefore, you
will need to study hard and prepare for this quiz.
• I also cannot assist individually with each quiz
• Keep in mind, this is a new textbook this year, therefore take the old test questions
with a pinch of salt as they have been based on the old textbook.
How long should you study for?
• Ensure you understand the terminology so that when you are asked a question in the
quiz, it makes sense.
• During the quiz, set aside the full 4 or 5 hours to complete this quiz online. That
means you spend applied effort on every answer. You will need to have your
documents (textbook notes, articles) open while doing the quiz so you can
investigate each question and find the answer.
