Assignment B Unit 6 – Ibrar

P3: Produce a realistic working plan for the project, including health
and safety and risk assessments

M3: Produce a realistic working plan for the project, including
health and safety and risk assessments and contingency planning

Aim – to determine the relationship between the concentration of salt and
the decrease in freezing point in water

Timeline Of Tasks –

 On 21/02/2024 I first started and completed the project's literature
review and produced an investigative project proposal, which was
assignment 6a.
 A factor that affects when this project will be fully completed is days
like 20/03/2024 and 09/04/2024 since they will be staff training days
on these dates, consequently meaning that we will miss these days of
college, another factor that affects the completion of this project is
religious celebrations like Eid which will commence around the date of
10/04/2024 till 13/04/2024, these days of college will also be missed.
Our project is delayed due to these factors that I have just stated.
 By 20/03/2024 I completed the project working plan, which is
assignment 6b.
 By 31/05/2024 I will have finished off the project, which will be
assignment 6c.

Risk Assessment -

 Chemical risk: Skin and eyes can be irritated by sodium chloride. When
this is being handled one should use caution and try to prevent skin
and eyes from meeting this chemical.
 Physical risk: When handling ice and chilled solutions there is a risk of
slipping and falling. Areas where experiments are being carried out
should be kept dry and clean to lessen the risk of this happening.
