Differentiating Between Formal, Informal,
and Liberated Networks
Formal, informal, and liberated networks represent discrete categories of community-
based social connections. Formal networks are organized and structured; they are
frequently formed via official channels or institutions. Informal networks, on the other
hand, are more impromptu and founded upon interpersonal connections and
exchanges. In contrast, liberated networks are distinguished by their dynamic and fluid
characteristics, frequently surpassing conventional boundaries and hierarchies.
Formal Networks
Formal networks are often formed inside established frameworks such as
corporations, institutions, or groups. These networks often possess well defined jobs,
regulations, and hierarchies. Some examples of these are professional groups,
government bodies, and business companies. Formal networks provide a well-defined
structure for communication and cooperation, often fulfilling certain roles within the
