This course also includes an overview of basic anatomical terminology, cell composition, and a discussion of the cellular membrane. Modules include discussions of anatomy and physiology of the individual systems as well as common pathology and treatments associated with each. The laboratory component of this course is delivered using virtual labs and interactive simulations with detailed instruction and demonstrations from an experienced instructor. Course Outcomes: As a result of this course experience a student should be able to: ● Identify and explain the function of all cell organelles ● Explain all types of cellular transport including diffusion, facilitated diffusion, active transport, exocytosis, endocytosis, phagocytosis, and
