1. Chinese learners have difficulty when it comes to English sounds /l/ and /r/. 1. Draw their attention to my mouth movements when saying the words with l
and r sounds that they have difficulty with.
2. Older students may feel embarrassed if they get an answer wrong in the
presence of younger students and therefore may tend to be quieter. 2. I will create a supportive and encouraging environment. Never focus too
much on a person’s errors and give praise.
3. Dominant students can be overpowering and dominate the class.
3. I will allow everyone opportunities to participate by calling students by name.
