GEOMORPHOLOGICAL PROCESS
The Geomorphic process means the changes in the Configuration/form of the
earth’s surface due to the physical stresses and the Chemical actions on the
earth’s surfaces.
The physical and chemical actions are due to endogenic and exogenic forces,
the two main geomorphic processes.
1. [ENDOGENETIC MOVEMENT]: Endogenic movement are that types of
movement that act in the interior of earth’s surface. These are classified
into two major categories:
Catastrophic Diastrophic
a. Catastrophic Movement are sudden movement caused by the action
of sudden endogenic forces which are originating from deep within
the earth.
b. Diastrophic movement are vertical and horizontal movement which
leads to produce of primary landforms such as Mountain, Plateau,
Plains, etc. It is classified into:
