Computers consists on small parts called components. Every component has its
own function, just like different body parts. All parts work together for the computer to
function effectively.

Computer Components:
o Input: takes in raw data.
o Processing: converting raw data into information
o Output: generate the result, commonly displayed on the monitor.
o Storage: when information is kept for later use.

Computers consist of a combination of HARDWARE and SOFTWARE parts.

What is Hardware?
Hardware is a collection of tangible or touchable parts of a computer. The name
hardware says it all hard, so you can touch the different components.

Hardware refers to the physical parts of a computer. There are different types of
hardware components, with different functions:

o Monitor, commonly known as a computer screen.
o Mouse, the hand device used to scroll and click.
