He suspects it is due to Josephine’s “bossiness” and how she deals with the customers. He told James that their clients complain about the slow service and that their invoices are often incorrect. Some angry clients even threaten to use other service providers if the quality of their service does not improve. Due to the urgency of the request, James was contracted and embarked on a team-building session to deal with the underlying conflict. During the session, the conflict exploded, and members accused each other of a lack of cooperation. Josephine complained that the IT system could not handle the load, especially since John joined the company. She then withdrew and left the session, saying she never gets listened to. John complained that he did not get the support as expected, his trucks need service, and he finds it challenging to keep up with all the requests for adding new clients to his garden service. He also mentioned that his employees complain as they used to do things differently before they joined Stay-a-While. They don’t get overtime pay, and they don’t experience a sense of belonging.
