In this assignment, I will answer questions based on the case study titled: Maximising
Media Relations for Effective Program Execution: UNICEF in Nigeria, and also a case
study based on Child Protection Week by using DOTMABE Formula, and do a self-
assessment and Self-reflection.



1. Role of Public Relations:

The role of public relations, as highlighted in the case study, involves effective
communication with stakeholders, government, and other publics to develop positive
relationships and align organizational goals with societal expectations. Public relations
practitioners create, execute, and assess programs that facilitate the exchange of
influence and understanding among an organization's parts and its various publics.

activities, and enhancing stakeholders' positive contributions.

The stakeholders in this case study include:
